During a library session I came across a book which I believe is called 'Fashion photography of the 90's'. Although I personally find some aspects of the nineties a bit too raunchy and tacky for my liking, there were some photographs found within this book that immediately caught my eye.
All four photographs below (from what I can gather) were shot my a fashion photographer called Tom Munro. Adopting virtually a Warhol approach to colour, Munro merges photography with a hint of Pop art which from my personal perspective is bold and captivating; each colour having it's own unique impact on the photograph as a whole.
Although I am not entirely sure as to whether this is something I could construct a project from I still thought it was necessary to create my own interpretation to Munro's approach to fashion.
Adjustments to the white balance (in camera) whilst using a variety of colour gels and filters which were then emphasised through altering the hues in photoshop enabled me to create a rather unusual fashion photography.
I can personally appreciate this image, however for my projects sake I believe it would be better to focus my attention on something with a lot more flexibility and consistency with regards to the experimentation process.
